Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join Devapo and take a leading role in shaping next-generation data platforms for our international projects. With growing demand across our portfolio, we are expanding our Data Architecture practice - building knowledge graphs, integrating AI agents, and turning complex business data into predictive intelligence.

About Devapo

At Devapo, we provide our clients with more than just code - we want to equip them with tools that allow their businesses to flourish. Our clients' success is our success, which is why we ensure that everyone who creates Devapo has a long-term goal in mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex business and regulatory standards into structured digital requirements, ontologies, and metadata schemas

  • Design and manage knowledge graphs mapping relationships across products, entities, and geographic regions

  • Lead the architecture of a Modern Data Stack using Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, and advanced LLMs (Claude, GPT-4)

  • Develop predictive data models combining historical data with real-time geospatial (GIS) signals to anticipate risks and identify patterns

  • Deploy AI agents to autonomously assess risks across transactions, audit reports, and business processes

  • Refine anomaly detection - identifying inconsistencies and data mismatches through automated collation

  • Champion a rapid incremental roadmap, balancing visionary architecture with functional releases that deliver immediate value

  • Create "data stories" that explain complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and domain experts to shape end-to-end data solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering, ideally including complex supply chains (Sustainability, Logistics, or Finance verticals preferred)

  • Proven experience with Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j, Azure PostgreSQL with Apache AGE, AWS Neptune, or similar)

  • Hands-on experience with Graph Neural Networks and complex ontology building

  • Expert-level experience with the Azure ecosystem, specifically Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry

  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and agentic frameworks into production environments (for classification, insight generation, risk assessment)

  • Strong programming skills (Python)

  • Solid background in data modeling, schema design, and metadata management

  • "Builder" mindset - comfortable moving between architecture, code, and stakeholder conversations

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with geospatial (GIS) data structures and overlaying them onto data graphs

  • Background in sustainability, ESG, traceability, or certification domains

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions

  • Knowledge of data governance tools (Azure Purview or similar)

What we offer

  • Co-financing for training and certifications, as well as guaranteed time for learning during working hours

  • Private medical care and a Multisport card

  • Language classes (English)

  • Flexible working hours and remote work

  • Team integration meetings and company events

  • Employee referral program with a bonus

  • An individually tailored career development path

  • Opportunity to work on mission-driven international projects with real business and societal impact
