High-Level Requirements by Role

1. Architect (System/Solution Architect)

  • Core Focus: Technical Strategy & Design.

  • Requirements: Deep technical expertise and proficiency in designing complex architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native solutions). Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions. Experience selecting technology stacks and overseeing code standards.

2. Product Owner (PO)

  • Core Focus: Product Vision & Value Maximization.

  • Requirements: Expertise in backlog management techniques (prioritization, refinement, forecasting). Strong communication and negotiation skills, effectively bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team. Demonstrated ability to define and measure product success using key metrics (KPIs).

3. Scrum Master (SM)

  • Core Focus: Process Facilitation & Team Coaching.

  • Requirements: Expert knowledge of the Scrum framework and/or other Agile methodologies (Kanban). Proven ability to remove impediments and shield the team from external disruptions. Experience in coaching teams, leaders, and the organization on Agile values and principles.

4. Project Manager (PM)

  • Core Focus: Delivery Management & Scope Control.

  • Requirements: Documented success in managing complex projects end-to-end. Proficiency in planning techniques, budgeting, and risk management. Ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and provide clear progress reporting to senior leadership.
